Coach Gary Blair began his involvement with Special Olympics in 1992 and has never looked back. From the very beginning, the joy he witnessed in the eyes of Special Olympians only deepened his passion and commitment to the cause. Over the years, he has presented medals at award ceremonies, delivered remarks at opening and closing ceremonies of the Spring and Winter Games, and contributed in countless other ways to support athletes across Texas.

Beyond the ceremonies, Coach Blair has regularly welcomed Special Olympians to Texas A&M Women's Basketball games and other special events, creating meaningful experiences both on and off the court. Since its founding, Coach Blair Charities has raised over one million dollars — a testament to the generosity of this community and the enduring dedication of Coach Blair himself.
